The Langhe of Barolo and Barbaresco, Roero, Asti, Monferrato, the lands of Gavi and Acqui:
Duchessa Lia has chosen the vineyards best suited to the great DOC and DOCG wines of Piedmont.
Duchessa Lia produces the noblest wines of Piedmont choosing the areas historically and qualitatively most suited to wine production.
The Langhe yields the Nebbiolo grapes that make the extraordinary Barolo and Barbaresco wines, recognized among the most prestigious red wines in the world. The land of Asti and the hills of Monferrato bear Barbera, Freisa and Grignolino, local varieties that have found their highest qualitative expressions here. From Roero, the grapes for Roero Arneis, son of the crystalline sun that kisses these hills all year round, whose rays are "trapped" by the grapes in brilliant shades.

The Hills of Moscato, which cradle some of the most beautiful vineyards between the provinces of Cuneo, Asti and Alessandria, are the birth places of the Moscato d’Asti and Asti spumante, which Duchessa Lia also vinifies in a dry version. The slopes of Acqui yield Brachetto, made with local red grapes, delicately aromatic. In the Lands of Gavi, where the Apennines meet the sea breezes, Cortese grapes are harvested, the ones used to produce Gavi, one of the most noble and elegant whites of Piedmont. Finally, from the sunny hills of Alba, the setting of a thousand-year-old winegrowing culture, come Dolcetto grapes meant for making Dolcetto d’Alba, one of the classic and highly appreciated wines of the Region.
